About the Company
Modam is a producer and importer of South Persian nomadic carpets based in Hamburg and Shiraz. In addition to its extensive range of Gabbeh, Loribaft and modern hand-knotted carpets, the company also offers several flatweave collections. Like the knotted carpets, the flat-woven Jajim, Kelim, Soumakh and Nimbaft are mainly made by the Ghashghai nomads surrounding the southern Persian city of Shiraz.
